Fall River — Three people were injured, one seriously, in a two-car crash at Broadway and Griffin Street Friday.

A Fire Department rescue crew used a hydraulic cutting device to free a 9-year-old girl from one wrecked car after the 3:45 p.m. collision. She was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Providence, with unknown injuries.

The driver of that car was reported to be her father, who is being summonsed into court by police on a charge of driving without a license.
